Leading lines ๐ท
The photo challenge of this week is about leading lines and how they can enhance your photo are lead the eye of the viewer to a subject.
Here are a few recent shots using this technique.
A shot from a recent run. The horses and puddle immediately caught my eye where I wanted to do something with the reflection but that didn't work out. So instead I used the puddle as a leading line to the horses.
Sometimes you have to be at the right location at the right time. Colours of the sun setting where already beautiful but the more I progressed along the road the more the road leading to the sun caught my eye. And that's when I took this shot.
Passing the crossing at the train station. Darkness was falling and created some great contrast with the light of the train station and everything surrounding it. I decided to take a lower stance and use the rails as a guide through the frame.
An old farm house. The mysterious door, vegetation and wooden clogs caught my eye. Walking around I took this shot, using the subtle lines of the window, wall and pavement leading to the door, wondering what's behind.
