Weekly rewind - W50 ⏪
Drawing I did for my son's presentation
Week in rewind
Still a bit up and down with my health. I did feel ok on Monday, however, Tuesday was difficult to get through. Results from my blood analysis did not show any major anomalies, I just need to go through this viral infection and should be back to normal in 1-2 weeks.
While I didn't do any running in the last 5 weeks, I and some friends registered for the Marathon of Valencia next December. This will be my 5th marathon, however the first abroad. it'll be the 45th edition of the Marathon of Valencia, which coincidentally will also be my age when running it, so I know it'll be one I'll always remember.
In my enthusiasm for registering for the Marathon of Valencia I went out to look for a countdown app to put on my home screen. To be constantly reminded and push to train as best as possible. After going all in, like I always do when searching for a solution, I settled on Up Ahead. Besides my marathon, I added some more events like birthdays and family gatherings for quick reminders.
After 2 weeks of refreshing my script multiple times a day, I found an X100VI. I immediately ordered it, and have just received it. Can't wait to start shooting and share some shots afterwards.
Speaking of sharing shots, I almost didn't share a photo from 2 months ago. I eventually published it on Glass and I'm so happy I did it got some traction and is now featured on their homepage. Again the lesson to share-share-share.
I'm still drawing but unfortunately didn't have the time to do it each day. Luckily my son had to do a presentation about talents which made us both draw together.
I tried to organize my bookmarks but as my company doesn't allow Raindrop (due to malicious activity) I was forced to look elsewhere, in the end creating my own solution with Workflowy.
With the end of the year in sight, after-school activities are starting to slow down which gives us more time to spend time together with the family. The highlight for sure was the swimming pool where I had to play the evil monster chasing my boys and throwing them around.
Netflix has been generous with launching great games. Last week I found out that Civilization VI, including all expansions, was available for free. This week, they launched Monument Valley 3, so I've had a bit of fun with these.
Watched
- Black Doves, up until episode 3. Still a recommendation.
